National Law University, Jodhpur is an institution of established under the National Law University, Jodhpur Act, 1999 by Rajasthan State Legislation. The University is established for the advancement of learning, teaching, research and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law. The Centre for Corporate Governance is a research hub under the National Law University, Jodhpur, dedicated to research and development of governance standards for the corporate world. To promote research on areas covered within the corporate law, the Centre came out with a bi-annual publication in 2008, known as Journal on Governance (also known as 'Journal on Corporate Law and Governance). Along with exploring the various problems and challenges that affect the corporate world, the Journal attempts to examine and offer workable solutions, which may help regulatory and policy decisions.The previous issues of the Journal have scholarly discourses from legal practitioners, academicians, research scholars and students. The journal also publishes the winning essay of the Pranita Mehta Memorial Essay Writing Competition conducted by the Corporate Law Society, NLUJ. The Journal on Corporate Law and Governance (JCLG), National Law University, Jodhpur is releases the Call for Papers for the 3rd NLUJ - Trilegal Corporate Law Review Summit, scheduled to be held on 8th - 9th November 2025, in offline mode at the NLU Jodhpur campus, in collaboration with Trilegal. The Summit is a flagship academic initiative that brings together legal professionals, scholars, and students from across India to deliberate on contemporary and cutting-edge developments in corporate and commercial laws.
